The Space

Centrally located amidst bustling downtown Charleston, our home is newly renovated, refurbished, and is certain to exceed your expectations during your stay. Our home has a midcentury modern design and is as luxurious as it is comfortable. Throughout the property, you will find hardwood floors, elegant décor, original fireplaces (decor only for safety purposes), stylish furniture, brand-new appliances, as well as plenty of space and privacy. Every bedroom has a private bath and flat-screen television. Suite A: Our spacious 3-floor Unit A is ideal for groups of 10-12 guests comfortably, featuring 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms with 2 king beds, 4 full-size beds, 1 bunk bed with 2 full-size mattresses, and 1 twin bed (5BR/6BA total). Unit A can be accessed by its entrance/exit on Ashley Ave where guests will walk through a beautiful landing area with a full washer/dryer in the back closet. As you walk up the stairs to the first floor you will find our first bedroom, the kitchen and dining room. Our first bedroom features a bunk bed with two full-sized mattresses, a mounted flat-screen TV, a mini-split for AC, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Your guests will step into the fully equipped kitchen featuring brand new appliances such as a dishwasher, coffee maker with locally roasted coffee provided by Stay Duvet, microwave, gas range, and a large quartz kitchen island with seating for up to 4 guests. Guests will also find an emergency exit through the kitchen down a spiral staircase that leads to the backyard [guests should be aware that it will lock behind them once outside]. Our open living room gets plenty of natural light and has a large L-shaped sofa that can seat up to 6 guests, a large coffee table, 2 matching club chairs, 2 side tables with lamps, and a large mounted flat-screen TV atop the fireplace and is open to the kitchen with access to the porch. There is also a wet bar in the living room to enhance the entertaining space. The porch features a comfortable southern-style swing and a large picnic-style table with seating for up to 12 guests, making this spacious area perfect for when it comes time to dine or just relax and enjoy the beautiful Charleston weather. A half bathroom can be found right at the end of the hallway right before guests head up the stairs to the second floor. On the second floor, guests will find additional bedrooms. The first bedroom features a twin-size day bed that can be converted into a couch for additional space, a small white dresser, a mounted flat-screen TV, a mini-split for AC, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Our next bedroom features a King-sized bed, two side tables with lamps, a large closet, a mounted flat-screen TV above a small desk with a chair, an original brick fireplace, a large en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower, and access to a large porch with additional seating. The last bedroom on this floor features a King-sized bed, two side tables with lamps, a large closet, a mounted flat-screen TV above a large desk with a chair, two matching club chairs, an original brick fireplace (decor only for safety purposes), a large en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and access to a large porch with additional seating. To access the third and final floor in this unit guests will walk up a small spiral staircase that opens up into a small living room area with a pull-out couch, coffee table, two lamps, and a mounted flat-screen TV. To the left of the living room, you will find a large bathroom with double sinks and a walk-in shower; to the right of the living room you will find our final bedroom. This bedroom features 4 full-sized beds that each have lamps attached to the bed as well as built-in drawers for clothing storage as well as a large armoire for additional storage. Our kitchen features brand new appliances such as a blender, coffee maker with locally roasted coffee provided by Stay Duvet, microwave, gas range, and a large granite kitchen island with seating for up to 4 guests and two hanging lamps for additional lighting. The living room area features a medium-sized sofa that can seat up to 3 guests, a large coffee table, 1 club chair, 2 side tables with lamps, and a large mounted flat-screen TV atop the fireplace (decoration only for safety purposes) and is open to the kitchen. As guests head down the hallway they will find our first bedroom to the right of our first bathroom featuring a full-sized bed, two side tables with lamps, a closet, a mounted flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Our second bedroom features a King-sized bed, two side tables with lamps, a small desk with a chair, a brick fireplace, a large closet, a mounted flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with double sinks and a tub/shower. This bathroom may also be accessed through the hallway. Suite C: Our home has a midcentury modern design and is as luxurious as it is comfortable. Throughout the property, you will find hardwood floors, elegant décor, stylish furniture, brand new appliances, as well as plenty of space and privacy. Our spacious 1st-floor studio Suite C is ideal for up to 2 guests featuring a small kitchen area, 1 bedroom with 1 king bed, and 1 bathroom (1BR/1BA total). Suite C can be accessed by its entrance/exit on Cannon St, where guests will step into a small kitchen area that opens up to the bedroom. Our kitchen features brand new appliances such as a dishwasher, a coffee maker with locally roasted coffee provided by Stay Duvet, a microwave, a small flat top that can be used for cooking, toaster, and small refrigerator and freezer drawers. The bedroom area features a comfortable King-sized bed, two side tables with lamps, a large dresser, a small dining table with two chairs where guests may enjoy a meal or morning coffee, a mounted flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Suite D can be accessed by its entrance/exit on Cannon St, where guests will step into a large open kitchen/dining room area. Our kitchen features brand new appliances such as a dishwasher, blender, coffee maker with locally roasted coffee provided by Stay Duvet, microwave, gas range, and a large quartz kitchen island with seating for up to 3 guests and plenty of cabinet space. The 1st floor living area features a large wooden table with seating for up to 8 guests, 2 matching club chairs, and a large mounted flat-screen TV that is open to the kitchen. As guests make their way through the dining room they may head outside through the double doors onto the patio which features a large table with an umbrella that has seating for up to 8 guests and a grill that is available for guest use. Our first bedroom on the first floor features a Queen-sized bed, two side tables with lamps, and an en-suite bathroom that features a walk-in shower. Guests will make their way up to the second floor and find a spacious living room featuring a large sectional couch, a large wooden coffee table, two side tables with lamps, two matching club chairs, and a 55 inch mounted flat-screen TV. To the left of the living room, guests will find our second bedroom which features a King-sized bed, two side tables with lamps, a small desk with a chair, a large closet, a mounted flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. This bathroom may also be accessed through the living room. Our third and final bedroom features a king-sized bed, two side tables with lamps, a small desk with a chair, a large closet, a mounted flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Finally, the property boasts an excellent private outdoor space equipped with a built-in gas grill, Adirondack chairs and additional outdoor dining space for 8 guests.

Guests are also responsible for following the City of Charleston's Ordinance rules under Section 54-227. Our city is growing quickly. With that growth comes construction. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about the resulting noise or the current, cosmetic state of some neighboring buildings. During your stay, this shouldn’t be too bothersome, since the city’s noise ordinance dictates quiet hours between 10pm & 8am. 10+ Day Stays are subject to an additional cleaning fee at host's discretion Please use painters tape if you plan on using tape to decorate for an event. If the wall is damaged due to tape removal or decorations, you will have to pay $500 for repainting. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE!!!
