Newly-renovated eight-bedroom historic home in the popular, laid-back Cannonborough neighborhood close to great restaurants & historical sights. This classic Charleston single is divided evenly into two units, each with its own open floor plan, kitchen & lounge space. There's a stairwell on the front porch connecting the two & another interior stairwell toward the back of the home. The home is full of interesting old books & pieces of art. Upon entering each unit, guests will appreciate the well-appointed kitchen with a gas-burner stove, retro-style refrigerator, dishwasher, & stone-top kitchen island with seating for four. Right next to the kitchen island is a dining room table that can comfortably seat six to eight guests. The room has two antique cast iron fireplaces (decommissioned) - one by the kitchen & one by the living room. The area has a cozy couch & a mix of funky, mid-century modern chairs + a poof. The television is a nifty retro-inspired HD Samsung model with a built-in stand. There are two bedrooms that would be perfect for the kids of the young at heart with bunk beds & an attached bathroom with a shower/soaking tub combo. Queen beds are in all the other bedrooms + bright white tile baths throughout. The home has two washer dryers & a long private driveway with off-street parking for at least two cars.
You will have access to the entire home, along with off street parking in the back snd the driveway, which can fit up to 4 cars in total.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about the resulting noise or the current, cosmetic state of some neighboring buildings. During your stay, this shouldn’t be too bothersome, since the city’s noise ordinance dictates quiet hours between 10pm & 8am. 10+ Day Stays are subject to an additional cleaning fee at host's discretion Please use painters tape if you plan on using tape to decorate for an event. If the wall is damaged due to tape removal or decorations, you will have to pay $500 for repainting. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE!!!

This was a nice house for extended family trip and very clean. Everyone had their own bedroom and the kids and adults could hang out on different levels. There was some siren noise, but it didn’t really disrupt our stay.
