Our Housekeeping Team members clean and sanitize all hard surfaces of our vacation homes, including but not limited to floors, countertops, railings, sink faucets, appliances, doorknobs, and light switches. The quality of disinfectants we use should remove 100 percent of the microscopic organisms on surfaces, and effectively stop the spread of disease and viruses. Linens and towels are laundered offsite at our linen facility. There is no evidence to suggest that this particular coronavirus will survive the wash chemistry and temperatures in the wash and dry process. Cannonborough/Elliotborough: The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough/Elliotborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary, and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include The Ordinary, The Grocery, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Bistronomy, Ice Bing, Goulette, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish, Pink Cactus, and the Warehouse for drinks. Our guests and neighbors also rave about Brown's Court Bakery and Sugar Bakery located nearby. We recommend going to Babas for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops and fashion boutiques – as well as an endless list of buzzing restaurants. Publix is conveniently located nearby on Lockwood Drive as well. The neighborhood is also within walking distance to CofC, MUSC, Roper, and the Citadel

Recently moved to Charleston after graduating a few years ago from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania. Since then, I have been experiencing the thriving city of Charleston and all it has to offer! I work for a property management company in downtown Charleston. I am an investor with the Indigo Road Group, which has five restaurants downtown in Charleston: Oak Steakhouse, O-Ku, Indaco, Macintosh, and Cocktail Club. All a must see during your visit!

This cute rental unit was located very conveniently within walking distance to the hustle bustle of King Street. The Stay Duvet Concierge team was wonderfully responsive to our needs and took care of us well! Would definitely recommend this place & Stay Duvet!
Wonderful experience! clean, centrally located, great communication.
Great location, as others have stated it is close to a lot and and easy walk a little farther down king street. The apartment was as advertised. Clean and tidy. A couple things to mention- sometimes the wifi didn't work upstairs and service isn't great either. The shower is definitely claustrophobic. And we did notice that the temperature fluctuated greatly while sleeping upstairs, you wake up very hot until the air kicks in again.
I feel that leaving a pretty neutral and honest review best serves both hosts and potential guests alike. Pros: -Awesome location- we walked to everything on King St, and a few places we know and love along Spring St very easily -Comfortable king size bed with clean linens and good pillows -Communicative host and designated phone numbers for assistance, should the need arise -Pet friendly -Designated parking space behind the building (entrance on a different street- host provided detailed instructions). -Local convenience corner store directly next door that's pretty well stocked for its small size Cons: - On second floor of the unit is one true bedroom and then another bed at the top of the stairs in the loft area that both share the bathroom. The unit is listed as a 2 bedroom with two beds in total- be aware- it is truly one bedroom with another bed in the loft area. -The ceilings on the second floor are very, very steeply slanted. (Converted attic I suppose). I am 5'8 and can only stand straight up in the center of the bedroom. The same thing applies for the bathroom. The walls are so slanted that the mirror had to be hung so low that I had to crouch down to my knees to use the mirror to shave and do my hair. -The shower is unreasonably small and dark. We are avid cruisers and cruise ship showers are more accommodating. The shower head is low due to the ceiling slant and I had to crouch down to thoroughly rinse my hair. -The kitchen is tiny. No counter space to prep for cooking. 1 person at a time kind of kitchen. Granted, it's Charleston and I know we certainly didn't come here to cook and not enjoy the local cuisine, but it is certainly noteworthy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay (3 nights). I would advise looking around at other properties for longer stays. Duvet seems to have a wonderful portfolio of properties in the area. We would definitely stay at one of their other, more accommodating properties.
