Our Housekeeping Team members clean and sanitize all hard surfaces of our vacation homes, including but not limited to floors, countertops, railings, sink faucets, appliances, doorknobs, and light switches. The quality of disinfectants we use should remove 100 percent of the microscopic organisms on surfaces, and effectively stop the spread of disease and viruses. Linens and towels are laundered offsite at our linen facility. There is no evidence to suggest that this particular coronavirus will survive the wash chemistry and temperatures in the wash and dry process. All soiled linens are treated as if they are contaminated. We kindly ask you to utilize the washer and dryer if available in the unit to freshen linens. Unlike a hotel, we have limited linens and towels for our guests and must wash them between each stay off-site. We have provided laundry detergent for your convenience. Our housekeeping staff is trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of coronavirus. THIS PROPERTY IS LEGAL AND LICENSED BY THE CITY OF CHARLESTON! Cannonborough/Elliotborough: The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough/Elliotborough district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary, and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include The Tippling House Wine Bar,The Ordinary, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Bistronomy, Barsa, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish, Pink Cactus, Chasing Sage, Elliotborough Minibar and the Warehouse for drinks. Our guests and neighbors also rave about Brown's Court Bakery and Sugar Bakery located nearby. We recommend going to Babas for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops and fashion boutiques – as well as an endless list of buzzing restaurants. Publix is conveniently located nearby on Lockwood Drive as well. The neighborhood is also within walking distance to CofC, MUSC, Roper, and the Citadel

Recently moved to Charleston after graduating a few years ago from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania. Since then, I have been experiencing the thriving city of Charleston and all it has to offer! I work for a property management company in downtown Charleston. I am an investor with the Indigo Road Group, which has five restaurants downtown in Charleston: Oak Steakhouse, O-Ku, Indaco, Macintosh, and Cocktail Club. All a must see during your visit!

Overall, a nice stay. We didn't realize that there would be so many slanted ceiling areas in the bedroom, bathroom and loft area. All of us ended up hitting our heads numerous times throughout our stay. We finally started walking bent over to avoid this. We aren't tall people either. The refrigerator didn't cool very well. We had lukewarm drinks from the frig. No black makeup towel was provided like the sign read. Also, no tissues. The location was great, free parking was great, but our spot was very tight and a challenge to get out of. One evening the person next to us parked over too far and we couldn't get in to our spot. Our unit was clean. The host was nice and welcoming and answered our questions quickly.
Stay Duvet was great with communication, cleanliness and design! The location was amazing, 10 min walk to King street covered in shops, and a 5 min Uber ride to the main main Charleston market. The directions for parking were a little complicated and could’ve been easier described as “behind the bodega”. The kitchen also attracted fruit flies which was odd cause we never had windows open! Other than that super great!!!
This is a great location off King Street with access to everything visitors to Charleston need. Right next to a convenience store for late night snacks. Awesome coffee shop on the next block over. Perfect spot for business travel!
Overall we did not enjoy our visit here. Starting with our private parking spot being taken by another person, we were then asked to park blocks away instead of the other person moving. The vestibule smelled strongly of pee. Once inside, the photos are deceiving. It a typical Charleston walk up. Narrow and long. The freezer did not keep food frozen, so we could not eat what was stored overnight. An access panel fell off the wall and scared everyone in the middle of the night. The shower was incredibly small and the water smelled funny. The loft bed is awkward and very hard. On a positive note: The king size bed was relatively comfortable. Although the angled wall above it has several damaged spots and a large foot print on it. We paid just over $690 for one night (including cleaning fee) which is unreasonable for what you actually get. Very unsatisfied.
