The Space

Dive right into the city life of Downtown Charleston at our 2-story stay, “The Saint Phillip” - with 10bd/10ba and two units combined, this home would be perfect for large groups/families of up to 20 people. Located just off of King Street, so parking and proximity are no issue here. As well, you will have your own private entryway to provide ample privacy during your stay. FIRST FLOOR Step inside to the combined living/dining/kitchen - featuring an open-concept floor plan, so you and your group can spend time together without feeling cramped. In the living room, you will find plenty of seating and a generous-sized HDTV - perfect for a good ole’ group movie night after a long day exploring the city. For your convenience, we have also stocked the kitchen with all your basic cooking/kitchenware needs in case you decide to do a little cooking during your stay. You may enjoy your homecooked meal together in the attached dining area - featuring a formal dining table with seating for six + additional seating for four at the bar counter. The first floor also contains 5 of the home’s bedrooms and bathrooms - located right down the hall from the common areas. Each of these bedrooms boasts a plush king-size bed for your comfort - three of the rooms also include their own ensuite with the other two rooms sharing a full bath. The fifth bathroom on this floor home is located in the hall for common. At the end of the hall, you will also find that there is a washer-dryer set in case you need to do any laundry while you’re here. SECOND FLOOR The second floor of this home is accessed through a private outdoor stairway located off the front porch. The Saint Phillip can be divided into two units for those with smaller groups, so you will notice that in addition to the common areas downstairs, this floor has a kitchen, living, and dining area of its own. The combined living/dining/kitchen space features an open-concept floor plan where you will have plenty of seating (including a formal dining table with seating for six + additional seating for four at the bar counter), an additional HDTV flatscreen, and for your convenience, another fully-stocked kitchen with all the basic kitchen/cookware. Whether you opt for takeout or cooking at the house - The Saint Phillip has got you covered. In addition to the common area, this floor is home to the second half of this stay’s bedrooms and bathrooms - located right down the hall from the common areas. Each bedroom boasts a plush king-size bed - three of the rooms also include their own ensuite while the other two rooms share a sizeable full bath. The fifth and final bathroom on this floor of the home is located in the hall for common use along with an additional washer-dryer set for added convenience. You will find that each room at The Saint Phillip has its own personality, so you can choose which vibe fits you best.

We kindly ask you to utilize the washer and dryer if available in the unit to freshen linens. Unlike a hotel, we have limited linens and towels for our guests and must wash them between each stay off-site. We have provided laundry detergent for your convenience. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance. No Smoking Allowed. Violators will be fined for in-room smoke damages. Smoking is ONLY permitted outside of the property, but please try to keep at least 10 feet from the doors to keep smoke from trailing inside. Firearms are not allowed in any of our private residences. This is a licensed and legal Short Term Rental. Neighborhood quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. If violated the city will issue a $1047 fine. Guests are also responsible for following the City of Charleston's Ordinance rules under Section 54-227. Our city is growing quickly. With that growth comes construction. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about the resulting noise or the current, cosmetic state of some neighboring buildings. During your stay, this shouldn’t be too bothersome, since the city’s noise ordinance dictates quiet hours between 10pm & 8am. 10+ Day Stays are subject to an additional cleaning fee at host's discretion Please use painters tape if you plan on using tape to decorate for an event. If the wall is damaged due to tape removal or decorations, you will have to pay $500 for repainting. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE!!!

Upper King: The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Upper King district of downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary, and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Leons, Little Jacks, Melfi's, Maison, Rodney Scotts, Berkeleys, The Ordinary, The Grocery, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Bistronomy, Chubby Fish, Pink Cactus, and the Graft (Wine) or Vintage (Cocktails) for drinks. We recommend going to The Daily for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops and fashion boutiques – as well as an endless list of buzzing restaurants and Charleston's best nightlight scene. Publix is conveniently located nearby on Lockwood Drive as well. The neighborhood is also within walking distance to CofC, MUSC, Roper, and the Citadel.
