There's ample lounge spaces indoors w/ 2 couches (1 of which is a sleeper). You'll be just steps from the beauty of Hampton Park, where there's access to outdoor recreation options. Parking won't be an issue here. A quick 5 minute walk to HAMPTON PARK! Only 4 blocks from King St 20 minutes from Charleston Int'l Airport 20 minutes from local beaches Sorry, no pets are allowed here. Please, no smoking on or in the property.

Fenced in backyard is currently NOT available for guest use. You'll be just steps from the beauty of Hampton Park, where there's access to outdoor recreation options. Parking won't be an issue here. Accessed by its own entrance/exit, 'Oyster House' accommodates for cooking & dining space alike. There's a dining table that can hold up to 6, & a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a 4-top burner electric stove, a microwave, toaster, & a dishwasher. Basic cooking/kitchenware is also located on this 1st level unit as well as a washer / dryer. 2 of the 2 bedrooms are also located on the 1st level. There's 1 full bathroom off of the main living room & bedroom hall w/ a shower / soaking tub combo & 2 sink dual vanity.

Hampton Park Terrace: The Hampton Park Terrace neighborhood of Charleston is a thriving area of downtown. Home to the infamous Rodney Scott's BBQ, Graft Wine Shop, Little Jacks Tavern and Park & Grove, you will enjoy the trendy side of King St that is walkable to both Wagener Terrace, Hampton Park, and the Cannon/Elliottborough neighborhoods, this location is about as central as it gets!

Although I think the price point is very high, this spot is as advertised in pictures and is very clean and comfortable. The location is the best part in a good neighborhood and a block from the park which was perfect for morning runs or strolls. The beds were fine but I would not rely on the sleeper sofa AT ALL. It is basically not even sleepable for one person and unfortunately we were with a group for a wedding and relying on it.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Oyster House. The house was close to Hampton Park which was a nice, short walk so we took advantage of this. A few minutes from Kings Street as well. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to relax during our stay. We did have a few issues with the cleanliness of the place so we sent the owners a private note about that so they are aware. There is plenty of street parking but you cannot park in the driveway... a little bit misleading on the listing since they mentioned there's "parking on the premises".
