Explore downtown Charleston from your front doorstep in this beautiful 1st-story condo, ‘The Lazarus’. With 2bd/1ba, this stay would be perfect for smaller groups/families of up to 4 people. ‘The Lazarus’ features a private entrance/exit located right off of Spring Street, so parking and proximity are not an issue! As soon as you walk through the front door, you’ll be immersed in the bright open floor plan of the combined living/dining/kitchen area - the perfect place to share a meal or kick back and watch a movie together on the large HDTV featuring a DirectTV subscription. For your convenience, the kitchen also comes fully equipped with basic cooking/kitchenware and brand-new state-of-the-art appliances. The adjoining dining area includes seating for 5 at the island counter, so there's plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. In addition to the living areas, both bedrooms are located right down the hall. The master bedroom features a plush king-size bed and plenty of closet space to store your belongings. While, the second bedroom has been adorned with a comfortable queen-size bed and adorable seafoam green walls (one of our favorite colors, as you can tell from the rest of the space). The seafoam green continues to the newly-renovated full bathroom located in the hall - featuring a spacious walk-in shower. From the living areas to the bedrooms, we have strived to infuse our boho-chic style into your stay, and we hope you enjoy this space as much as we do!
This apartment is one of four in a multi-unit home. Guests will have exclusive access to half of the first floor of the building. Easily accessible and well lit for your safety. You can pull your car off the street and into a nearby gated parking lot, which makes packing and unpacking a breeze.

Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about the resulting noise or the current, cosmetic state of some neighboring buildings. During your stay, this shouldn’t be too bothersome, since the city’s noise ordinance dictates quiet hours between 10pm & 8am. 10+ Day Stays are subject to an additional cleaning fee at host's discretion Please use painters tape if you plan on using tape to decorate for an event. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary, and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include The Tippling House Wine Bar,The Ordinary, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Bistronomy, Barsa, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish, Pink Cactus, Chasing Sage, Elliotborough Minibar and the Warehouse for drinks. Our guests and neighbors also rave about Brown's Court Bakery and Sugar Bakery located nearby. We recommend going to Babas for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops and fashion boutiques – as well as an endless list of buzzing restaurants. Publix is conveniently located nearby on Lockwood Drive as well. The neighborhood is also within walking distance to CofC, MUSC, Roper, and the Citadel

Great place for your Charleston stay! The location seemed a little off the beaten path at first, but once we settled in, we soon learned how easy (and safe) it was to walk South and East to all the historical neighborhoods, or meander a few blocks to catch the free downtown shuttle (DASH), which stops at all the major historical/cultural sites. Also within very easy walking distance of great coffee (Gnome, 132 Spring, Sightsee), and amazing lunch and dinner options (Xiao Bao, Fuel, Chubby Fish). And very close proximity to the East Central/North Central parts of town (is this hipster area called "NotCH" [North of the Church's Chicken]? It should be...). Also a convenient spot to get a Lyft/Uber. The space itself is modern and fresh, and while the frontage lies along a moderately busy street, the back of the unit is bordered by a parking lot, and we could easily park our car so it was visible from the bedroom window. Coded doors for the main entrance as well as the unit itself (different codes, naturally, and no physical keys to worry about) made for easy access. Big flat screen in the comfortable living room easily provided access for our streaming needs. The kitchen offered everything you might need for cooking in, though for us, that's not a huge need in Charleston. Bathroom was very modern, with a nice tiled shower and good water pressure. The washer/dryer felt like a bonus, and we enjoyed being able to pack clean clothes for the trip home. The main thing for us was the fact that the property management was so on top of things. We had a couple small issues, and they were resolved to our satisfaction almost instantly (the property management office is 2 blocks away, FWIW).
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was exactly as described and pictured to a very high standard. Beds, pillows and blankets were very comfortable. We found the living room furniture very comfy and the kitchen was very well equipped. The concierge was very quick to respond to any minor issues. We were given a new coffee machine when we had trouble with the existing one.
Super cute place in a fun old building. Very clean. Convenient parking. Neighborhood not the nicest, but we always felt safe. Right by a hospital so when you hear helicopters in the middle of the night, they're med-vac. You'll still drive to get to the good shops on King St., but it's close.
