The Space

This expansive 4 bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom house, ‘The Charlestonian’, can accommodate up to 10 guests, making it the perfect place for large groups of friends and/or multiple families. This 3 story full house has been newly renovated and recently refurbished to meet all your vacation wants and needs. Guests will enjoy the bright and open design as well as the convenience of being within walking distance to countless restaurants, shopping, and historical sights. With its ample space, modern amenities, and 18th century inspired design, this house perfectly reflects the charm of historic Charleston. Throughout the property guests will find beautiful hardwood flooring, antique art and décor, original fireplaces, high ceilings with exposed beams, lavish furniture fit for royalty, brand new appliances, and much more. The property features… Off-Street Parking. Located in the beautiful Cannonborough/Elliotborough, with allocated off-street spots that accommodates multiple vehicles, parking and unpacking will be the least of your worries. An Outdoor Veranda. Enjoy the beautiful Charleston weather while sharing a meal outside around the dining table located in the spacious, private area toward the back of the house. Decorated with beautiful stringed lights, guests can enjoy their morning cup of coffee or evening cocktail around the outdoor dining table that provides seating for 6. A Fully-Equipped Kitchen. Through the main entrance is the bright, modern kitchen. It comes fully equipped with brand new GE and MayTag appliances including a large refrigerator and freezer with an icemaker, oven/stovetop, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, and Keurig. In the kitchen, you will also find the brand new stacked washer and dryer for guests use. The kitchen also boasts an original fireplace surrounded by exposed brick, brand new stone countertops, and cabinetry. The large island in the center is surrounded by 5 cushioned barstools and the breakfast table along the windows provide seating for 4 to 5 guests. A Grandiose Dining Room. Through a set of double doors, is the lavish dining room fit for royalty. The dining room has 18th century inspired design and features a fireplace, as well as a large, solid wood dining table with seating for 8-10 guests beneath a gorgeous crystal chandelier. Spacious Living Room. Open to the dining room on the 1st floor, is the elegant living room area with high ceilings, a crystal chandelier, ample space, and a traditional 18th century design. This open lounge space features 2 Chesterfield sofas, a loveseat sofa, an area rug, coffee table, side tables with lamps, and a flat screen TV mounted on the wall above an original fireplace. These features, coupled with the floor-to-ceiling windows, make this the perfect space for lounging and spending time with one another. The half bathroom is conveniently located in the connecting hallway off the living room. 4 Large Bedrooms and 2 ½ Bathrooms. The first 3 bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor. The 1st bedroom, on the front side of the house, features a plush queen sized sleigh bed with storage space, a bedside table and lamp, a wooden dresser with a mirror, a wardrobe for hanging clothes, and a flat screen TV mounted on the wall above a beautiful fireplace with exposed brick. This bedroom also has a love seat, futon sofa, and small coffee table purposefully aligned with the bay windows to make the ultimate sitting area. Guests can enjoy direct access to the 2nd floor balcony from this bedroom. Just a few steps down the hall is the 2nd bedroom, which also features a plush queen sized sleigh bed with storage space, a bedside table with a lamp, a large dress with a mirror, and a gorgeous fireplace with exposed brick. The 2nd bedroom contains a small writing desk and chair, as well as direct access to the 2nd floor balcony. The 3rd bedroom is located toward the back of the house and is accessible by the main hallway and the 2nd bedroom. The 3rd bedroom has a queen sized sleigh bed with storage space beneath, a bedside table with a lamp, an oversized dresser with a large mirror, and a brick fireplace and mantle. This bedroom also boasts a stunning vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. The first full bathroom is located in the hallway on the 2nd floor and features brand new tile, fixtures, lighting, and a glass standup shower. The 4th bedroom and 2nd full bathroom is located on the 3rd level. This bedroom features a queen sized sleigh bed with storage beneath, two bedside tables with lamps, a small loveseat sofa, a clothes hanging rack, vaulted ceilings, and exposed beams. The 2nd full bathroom on the 3rd level features brand new tile, fixtures, lighting, and a glass standup shower. The 3rd level also contains an additional lounge space featuring a futon, single bed, and flat screen TV- perfect for an extra guest or young child. I work for Yelp and put on public events in Charleston. I've lived in Atlanta, GA; Los Angeles, CA; Jupiter, FL; Chattanooga, TN; New Haven, CT; Athens, GA; and now I live in Charleston, SC and NEVER want to leave. I live by the motto "Leave nothing behind but good will". I'm a big believer in karma and care about quality control in what I do. I hope to not only be a good host, but your friend and guide (if needed) during your stay here in the best city in America :) I want you to also see whats good in the locals eyes and not just what is marketed to the tourists.

Policies

Our Housekeeping Team members clean and sanitize all hard surfaces of our vacation homes, including but not limited to floors, countertops, railings, sink faucets, appliances, doorknobs, and light switches. The quality of disinfectants we use should remove 100 percent of the microscopic organisms on surfaces, and effectively stop the spread of disease and viruses. Linens and towels are laundered offsite at our linen facility. There is no evidence to suggest that this particular coronavirus will survive the wash chemistry and temperatures in the wash and dry process. All soiled linens are treated as if they are contaminated. Our housekeeping staff is trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of coronavirus. THIS PROPERTY IS LEGAL AND LICENSED BY THE CITY OF CHARLESTON!
