This 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bathroom two story home, ‘The Lemon Drop’, was originally built between 1840 and 1852. Now recently renovated and refurbished, the home’s open layout and contemporary design flawlessly reflects the charm of both modern and historic Charleston. Centrally located just ONE BLOCK from upper King Street, this property is perfect for larger groups of up to 6 guests looking to stay amidst the action of downtown Charleston. Throughout the property, guests will find an open layout with a contemporary-transitional design, hardwood floors, exposed brick, 200 year old salvaged beams, original artwork, chic light fixtures, and stylish furniture. Upon arrival, guests will walk up 5-6 stairs onto the large front porch. Walk down another few steps and off to the back side of the house and into the large outdoor courtyard. This spacious oasis has two outdoor tables, both with seating for 4, as well as an outdoor sofa, two club chairs, and a coffee table, making it the ultimate spot to enjoy the beautiful Charleston weather over your morning coffee, cocktails at sundown, or a home-cooked meal. *A Fully-Equipped Kitchen and Bar. The kitchen, open and spacious, boasts exposed brick, a large kitchen island with bar seating, a breakfast table with seating for 4, a wine rack, large pantry, a cocktail-friendly ice maker, and a beautiful sidebar topped with a custom inlaid heart of pine countertop. The kitchen also comes fully-equipped with new Jenn-Air appliances including a refrigerator/freezer, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and microwave.
