Our recently -renovated house, is ideal for those who want to stay somewhere luxurious and historic only two blocks away from King St, known as the ‘Rodeo Drive’ of Charleston with great art galleries, cafes, restaurants and bars. With 2 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms - 2 en-suite - as well as 2 living rooms, guests can enjoy plenty of space and privacy.
THE SPACE Our two-bedroom house has been recently renovated and has a historic yet modern interior. Throughout the property you’ll find luxury, historic furnishings, including chandeliers, antique leather furniture and large fireplaces, alongside the latest fittings and appliances, including HDTVs and spacious walk-in showers. The property features: Two separate living rooms. One - known as ‘The Den’ - has a traditional, grand interior with two leather armchairs, a beautiful illustrated map of Charleston on the ceiling and antique wall mirrors, candle holders and lamps. There is also a queen-size sofa bed. The second living room has a modern, bright interior, with a working gas fireplace, a 50-inch HDTV and an L-shaped sofa. Two bedrooms, both with an en-suite bathroom. The spacious master bedroom has a king-size bed, a 42-inch HDTV and a luxury en-suite bathroom with a chandelier, freestanding bathtub and a walk-in shower. There is also an adjacent seating area with access to a private outdoor terrace. The second bedroom has a double bed and twin trundle bed underneath the double bed. There is an en- suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The pull out couch is located in the library. A fully-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, coffee maker and a fridge. A dining area with a wooden dining table and seating for six. A downstairs bathroom off the two living areas with a walk-in shower. A large wrap-around upstairs porch, perfect for a quiet drink in the sun. A laundry area with a washer and dryer. One free off-street parking space. GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to the entire home. Plus the property comes with 1 Off Street parking space that should fit any size vehicle.
Guests will have exclusive access to the entire two story house. Easily accessible and well lit for your safety. You can pull your car off the street and into a driveway/parking lot, which makes packing and unpacking a breeze.
Our team can provide self- check-in instructions for your convenience. If you need anything at all, we can be reached via text or phone. NEVER park 2 cars in the driveway . The driveway pad is only suitable for 1 car. If you try to fit 2 cars it will damage the bricks past the secure driveway pad and the Tree. You will be subject to a big fine and or loss of security deposit. This can cause us to have to replace and repair the walk way bricks located just past the main driveway pad. Please ONLY park 1 car in the drive way. This is a licensed and legal Short Term Rental. Neighborhood quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. If violated the city will issue a $1047 fine. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary, and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include The Ordinary, The Grocery, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Bistronomy, Ice Bing, Goulette, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish, Pink Cactus, and the Warehouse for drinks. Our guests and neighbors also rave about Brown's Court Bakery and Sugar Bakery located nearby. We recommend going to Babas for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops and fashion boutiques – as well as an endless list of buzzing restaurants. Wonderful home - awesome location - we had a fantastic time staying there. Loved some of the restaurants and pubs within a few blocks.
This is an absolutely lovely home. Everything -- from the architecture, the cozy outdoor garden and upstairs porch, the furnishings (handsome & bright, comfortable not cloying), the library with loads of books about Charleston & environs, to the well-outfitted kitchen -- was pretty much perfect. We initially had a little bit of trouble with television service and the helpful response from concierge was almost immediate. Also, if you care a lot about spic & span cleanliness, wow...this is the place. We loved Lady Banks.
My husband and I are super spoiled with our mattress and sheets at home but this was the best nights of sleep we’ve ever had while traveling.
The house is exactly as advertised! Absolutely wonderful! We would love to stay again. The kitchen was beautifully kitted out, there was plenty of room for all four of us, location was great, the house was pretty, the outside spaces terrific. Thank you!
