Fantastic place, close to all the “important” things, like restaurants and neighborhood parks. Quick way in and out of the downtown area. Very walkable if heading to King St but also comfortably away from the noise.
We loved the super close parking. Across the street from Two restaurants. Nice, clean property with fabulous hosts. Thank you! Jaime
This house was absolutely perfect for a get away weekend. it was the perfect size for my husband and I - although I think it would have been tight with more than 2 people. it was immaculately clean and a great location!

Wonderful place! Perfect location by tons of good food and running distance to the battery!
Loved this place and location
This was a great place! Clean, clean, clean! Excellent communication from the owners. Lovely neighborhood, though it is quite a walk to the main shopping/historic area of Charleston - we opted to find parking along the Battery that was closer when we were eating out and shopping. Adequate closet space and an ample size bathroom upstairs. The king size bed was super comfy! The full kitchen was a plus! We would definitely stay here again!
This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Charleston!
Place was very nice. It is not in the shaded area as depicted, it is just outside of it. May not make a difference to many but as a single who likes to walk and explore it adds quite a bit everyday. It was nice and quiet. Overall good value. I probably wouldn’t return bc of location.
Such a cute spot in a perfect location, I'm guessing this was the carriage house for the main house - completely renovated while still maintaining the charm. Loved the layout and I was very comfortable. Parking was a breeze and everything I needed was handled immediately! Thank you so much. Really ideal location for downtown Charleston with food nearby - very clean - exactly as described. Will visit again!
What a wonderful place to stay! The apartment is just perfect - clean, welcoming, beautiful. I had everything I needed and even more space than I imagined. Communications about the apartment were responded to instantly, and they even checked in on arrival night to ensure I was settled in comfortably. I will certainly rent this space again.
We so enjoyed staying in this wonderful home! The location allowed us to feel like locals. Great dining within walking distance. As others have mentioned it is near the hospital and helicopters are in and out but we just brought a small fan and didn’t hear anything. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Everything in the home is well stocked. We can’t wait to return.
Great place I'd stay again
Had a great time in Charleston. Hosts were great about checking in and keeping us updated on all info. Place was clean. Would definitely stay here again
Wife and I had a lovely stay here for a wedding and baby moon in September, could not have been more pleased! Perfect for couples or with an infant and 5-10 mins from everything downtown Charleston. Will definitely be booking this little gem in the future!
A fabulous house located in historic and quaint Cannonborough, less than two miles from The Battery and even closer to other parts of historic Charleston. Very modern and tastefully decorated house, with a comfortable King size bed and great WiFi. All in all, fantastic accommodations that remind you what’s great about AirBnB when you find a place like this! Also, I was very impressed with StayDuvet, the management company for the unit. Their standards are exceptionally high and they did everything to make our stay comfortable. Very responsive… very communicative… very flexible. Thanks!
Very cool place. Extremely clean and well-appointed. Easy to get in and get out with the designated parking space.
This is a wonderful property. The location is perfect and the home is adorable. I booked this for an extended stay and it felt just like home. The property is clean and well decorated. It was a bonus that it had a parking place as well.
A great place to stay for a couple coming to Charleston! It’s within walking distance of great restaurants and good shopping. It’s located near MUSC and Roper hospitals but we it overall quiet and peaceful. Check in was a breeze!
Great comfy location to explore Charleston!
Terrific place for two people. Pretty convenient to all the things inside and outside Charleston.
Great place! Very clean and very nice!!! My wife and I loved it!
Quinn’s house was excellent for two! Everything was very clean, modern, and cozy. I would definitely come back. Finding the house and parking was a little difficult to find. In decent walking distance from king street but did have a Uber a good amount. Market street and other “must do’s” were a fairly long distance walking. Overall, great experience but wish it was a little closer to some “must do’s”!
What a great spot to spend a few days! Sparking clean, comfortable and within walking distance to what Charleston has to offer!
Chic and quaint, nice digs.
My boyfriend and I stayed for three night's at Quinn's apartment. Quinn was very communicative leading up to check-in with all of the details we needed. Check-in was easy and flexible. The apartment itself was great and had plenty of space for two people. We liked having the porch off of the bedroom upstairs for enjoying our morning coffee. The apartment is a bit of a walk from some areas - South of Broad, French Quarter, etc. - but doable. I would definitely recommend Quinn's apartment.
Nice and cozy space. Had the entire guest house to ourselves. Nicely decorated, good air conditioning, nice finishes, 2 private balconies. Good location to upper king street, local coffee shops, and restaurants. Also easy access to highways. Cheap Uber ride anywhere in the city. Parking is tight but having off street is a bonus. It was extremely hot in Charleston and I like a cold shower. Water temperature was not very cold but this won’t be a concern for most. Upper sink pressure was low and upper toilet would run if you did not giggle the handle. Again, small concerns for us. All in all we had a great stay. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Wonderful place for visiting Charleston! The location is perfect and so comfortable to come back to after a long day of sight seeing. We hope to be back someday!
Hospitality was amazing and responded quickly to all texts. The location was great and the living space looked exactly like the pictures. I would definitely recommend this locations to others!
We had great stay. Everything we need for our couple nights in Charleston. Very clean and comfortable in a great location. Recommend!!!
Perfect place aswell as perfect location! If you’re looking to go to Charleston this is the place to stay at, wonderful host with quick responses and extremely helpful!
Very clean space which was welcomed during the pandemic. Bed was super comfortable. Some noise as others have mentioned from the nearby hospital. We found it easy to walk to the historic district. Overall really enjoyed our short stay.
Cute place! Good location within walking distance to King Street! It is right next to a hospital so I did hear choppers and ambulances coming
This is a great spot in a perfect location.
This was my first Airbnb that I have stayed in and it was a great experience. The house is very clean, super cute and private. The parking lot behind the house was awesome because I have trouble parking in cities and on the street. The location was perfect, you can walk to King Street with no problem! Downtown Charleston was surprisingly very easy to get around, considering it’s a very busy town! All and all it was a great experience, and we will book another trip to stay here in the future!
This is an excellent place for two people to stay. It is a separate building from the other rentals on the property so you are truly by yourself and don’t share walls with anyone. Everything is as stated or better. Private apartment style washer and dryer are in the bathroom closet upstairs. Well stocked and extremely clean and well maintained. Highly recommended. Ten minute drive to historic downtown area. We will definitely return if we are in the area again.
The Crow’s Nest is in a wonderful location and it’s a great spot. The host was great to work with and we’re looking forward to our next visit!
Gave this stay as a honeymoon gift for my nephew and his new wife. They were thrilled and had a great time.
This place was an awesome choice for couples looking to get away! It was so clean and well kept. It was the perfect size for us and in walking distance to many things. We would love to stay here again!
Exactly what we expected. A 15 min walk to king street. Quiet and sufficient. Would recommend
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at Quinn’s place while visiting Charleston for the first time. The home was immaculate, check in/out went smoothly, and we loved having a glass of wine or coffee on the cute porch. East walking distance to most things but we also drove around the area a bit as well so having the off street parking was very helpful. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay again for our next visit!
Top notch all the way. We scheduled a very last minute booking and this carriage house was everything we were hoping for. From the ease of check in and parking in downtown Charleston to the beautiful accommodations, we’ve found the spot where we will stay anytime we’re back in Charleston. Communication was spot on and I felt valued and cared for all the way. The house is an easy walk to every downtown destination. Once we parked, we didn’t move the vehicle until check out. I cannot recommend this listing and the providers more.
This place was great. We brought bikes and did all our traveling that way. It was nice riding through the beautiful neighbors hood to get to downtown. We had good communication with Quinn, the place was clean, and we felt safe the whole time. I recommend this place to anyone.
Great private place! Detached from any other units, like having a house in downtown Charleston. Walk to King street or market was less than 20 mins!
We had a good time and Quinn’s place was exactly as advertised.
We enjoyed our stay. The home was walking distance to parks, restaurants, and shops. It's great to be able to take our dog. We loved sitting on the top deck, enjoying a glass of wine. It was in quite neighborhood. We highly recommend The Crows Nest.
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Crow's Nest. It was just the right size for the two of us (could not fit more than 2 people) and we LOVED that we were able to bring our dog with us. We had a great time taking walks in the neighborhood! Parking was EASY in the lot right next to the house. Even though we parked in a gated lot, our parking space was literally right next to the house. Very easy. I wish there was more seating in the living area. Make sure you really like who you are staying with because you'll have to sit right next to each other on the loveseat to watch TV or hang out. And the only eating spot is the two stools at the counter/island. We liked sitting there, but if someone is looking for a traditional table set up with more than 2 seats, you will not find that here. All in all, we would recommend this place and would definitely stay here in the future.
Crow's Nest is exactly how it is pictured. Extremely clean, cozy and everything you need for your stay. Convenient parking, and being pet friendly was a plus! Quinn was an excellent host and very responsive to our questions; and I would rent any property managed by Stay Duvet.
The perfect place for 2 people! Everything was included (and had extra items not even used). Very comfortable with the place being on two floors. Easy check in and parking was super easy. Could be a bit loud at times being near a hospital, but if the noise doesn’t bug you don’t even think about looking at another place! We liked being a bit removed from the hustle of Charleston - easily accesible through car. We loved this place!
We had a great stay at Crows Nest! The home was very clean and cozy. Looking forward to coming back to Charleston!
Fantastic stay at a fabulous location. There was a bit of noise from helicopters and sirens at the nearby hospital, but it didn’t negatively impact our experience at all. We will definitely stay here, and with any properties managed by Stay Duvet again!
Great location! 10 minuet walk from king street the main strip in Charleston!
The Crow’s Nest was a wonderful home base for our Charleston vacation! It is in a great location - walking distance to many restaurants and popular spots. We loved that the place was dog friendly! Also loved the upstairs patio - used it a lot! This place had lots of charm and we would stay again!
Nice place separate from other units so quite private and no noise!
Audry & Mark
A nice clean place in a cute historic building. If was great being able to walk to so many things! We'd definitely stay there again, but it might not be the best place for a light sleeper with the proximity to life flights at the nearby hospital.
Great little AirBnB located very well to so much of what Charleston has to offer. Clean, well equipped, modern, and parking was super easy. The broken up space was great for being able to do some work as needed and I can’t wait to stay here in warmer months when we can enjoy the porch a little more. Host was super fast to respond to any questions, and also checked in on us to make sure everything was up to par and check in was successful.
The house was very nice and Quinn is a great host. We enjoyed our stay.
Great place - perfect for my dog and I to enjoy the best of the Charleston! You are right next to MUSC so every once in a while you will hear a helicopter landing at the hospital but it's not very common! The place is adorable - super clean and up to date! It's in a complex of several airbnbs which I enjoyed and they are great with communicating and keeping you up to date on everything! Very professional and would definitely recommend!
Due to the pandemic, we were very apprehensive in going away, however, that apprehension faded as soon as we stepped feet and paws inside the Crow’s Nest. The place is pristine! Let me repeat that, the place is PRISTINE! The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedroom were all very clean and fresh. The apartment is very centrally located, it took us 5 minutes by car to get to King street. We were detached from the other apartments, which was great, as we were worried about a bark of two from the anxious pups. We stayed here for over a week and each night, it felt like we were coming home. We will definitely stay here again. Quinn and Taylor were great communicators as well. Thank you for a truly stress free and relaxing experience.
The properly was very clean and neat. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Nice, very clean space. Great place if bringing FIDO.
Such a cute little place for us! So close to the Main Streets that we basically walked everywhere we could. The balcony was perfect and the communication was impeccable
This is a great place! The unit is separate from other units so it feels very private. The porches are lovely. It is a wonderful space, and the house is in an easy location to get anywhere on the peninsula on foot, Uber or (our favorite option) pedicab. Parking is right at the home (you can see your car from the window) and I felt very safe. The space was super clean, and has a dishwasher and laundry. I couldn’t ask for more! I will absolutely stay here again.
Location made me feel like a real local - several great coffee shops and restaurants in walking distant and access to a holy spokes hub for easy biking around the whole city
Great location and house. Check in/out was easy, host replied almost immediately when I messaged him, SUPER clean home. It’s as if you were staying at a hotel. When you walk in, you can smell how clean it is. Didn’t see any dirt anywhere. Truly enjoyed my time there.
This place was the perfect amount of space for my fiancé and me! The bedroom was far more spacious than I expected, we were able to walk to so many places, and the second floor balcony was the perfect spot for an evening drink! We would absolutely stay here again.
Quinn's place was perfect for our stay. We took a "mini-moon" after our wedding, and stayed for a few nights. The location is very close to everything downtown. The space was the perfect amount of room for us, and it was so clean! Would definitely go back.
Awesome place to stay! Close to everything !
We had an amazing stay at the Crow’s Nest! It was the perfect place for 2 and was better than we expected! We had everything we need in an awesome location! Check in and out were simple and having free parking was perfect. The responses were fast and gave us local recommendations. We loved spending our evenings on the balconies enjoying the perfect Charleston weather. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!
Great location and price! Host communicated throughout stay!
It’s a great location, literally 5-10 minutes from anywhere you want to go. It’s clean, quiet, and has great parking. If you want to tour the area and enjoy the city, this is a good starting point.
Great place in a great location!
Great place, great location, great hosts!
My girlfriend and I couldn't stop commenting about how charming the place was and how it reminded us very much of our home. There was something very inviting and familiar about the unit that enabled us to thoroughly enjoy the space while we were there. All in all, my girlfriend and I really loved the space. It was clean with a nice modern feel, but kept some of the old touches of the original carriage house, like the wood floors and doors. We especially liked the bed, which was just the right firmness to give us a good night's sleep. If/when we ever decide to revisit Charleston, we'll be thinking of this place!
This is a charming house, easy to get to anywhere in Charleston from the spot. Very clean. Loved the double porches, and the cozy accommodations. The bedroom particularly was very comfortable. The mattress and bedding were amazing. Very nice kitchen space, and cozy living space. Parking convenient once you have checked in. There are a few additions that would make this a solid 5 star (robe hooks, another seating option In the living area) But all in all, a very well-maintained, comfortable, and stylish place to vacation. Great value in the Charleston historic district. Highly recommend.
Very comfortable space for two people. Centralized location in Charleston with easy access to highways to get to various beaches and also walking distance to multiple restaurants. The included parking space made getting around way easier! I will absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Charleston.
Very nice place. It was near the hospital so there was some noise from the helicopter landing at times. Within walking distance of many spots and king street. It was an enjoyable stay!
Overall amazing property. Private two story unit with two porches. Great kitchen space for entertaining/cooking and private upstairs bedroom/bathroom. FREE private lot for parking one vehicle (saved a ton of money by avoiding public parking). Easy walk or drive to almost all of what you would want to do DT. 20 min drive to Folly Beach/Sullivan’s. Would highly recommend!!!
Great location and super cute decor! Really enjoyed the porches while watching the rain!
We really enjoyed our stay at Quinn’s place. Very clean and organized. Great location near downtown. Just a short walk to coffee shops or dinner spots. Xiao Bao Biscuit was an excellent recommendation. We will definitely look to book this location again for our next trip.
Beautiful space in a great location.
10 minute walk from king street. Two minutes away from great food. Awesome place!
The space was exactly as pictured, and more! Very cute. Loved the front porch and balcony. Location is excellent.
Exactly as described and as seen in the pictures. Perfect for a couples getaway (we used this for our honeymoon and it was perfect!) The location was ideal. Close to downtown Charleston (King Street and Market Street were a 3-5 minute drive) but also an easy drive to the beaches (18 minute drives to Folly Beach or Sullivan’s Island) We have already recommended to our friends and family!
The pictures show the property well, I wouldn't sleep more than four guests in this space. If you are avid walkers, this place is great. If you are unable to / do not want to walk a half-mile + to every interesting point in Charleston, look for something closer or get an Uber. All in all, a great place for the price - very good property management.
Quinn’s place was very good for the location and proximity near King St (about a 10-15 minute walk). For the price of what you pay for, we would 100% stay here again the next time we come to Charleston.
Loved this cute little carriage house! The neighborhood here is lovely for walking and close to great food (Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Bon Bahn Mi) and great coffee shops and cafes (134 Spring and Gnome Cafe). Beware that parking is a little tight if you have a larger vehicle, but it's downtown Charleston, so that's to be expected. Our hosts were responsive, thoughtful, and have a great spot to relax in.
Quinn’s place was perfect! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each morning, the great location and hospitality from him and his team.
The place is much smaller than it looks. Great for a cozy weekend only, not a longer stay. Also a very loud location due to traffic noise as well as being next to the medical center (helicopters and ambulances day and night).
Good location, walking distance to a lot places, spacious apartment
Just as pictured! My husband and I spent 3 nights here and it was lovely! SUPER clean and a 10 minute walk to King street or low cost Uber!
Lovely and clean space! Worked very well for us...
Super cute, extra clean, stylish place! We will definitely stay again.
Great place in a great location. Close to Kings and MUSC. Very clean and stylish.
We enjoyed our stay at this sweet spot! The place was very clean and orderly and the management was great!
This space was one of the cleanest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in and very nicely appointed. The location is near the medical campus and was a little far for our liking, especially at night. But quick and cheap Uber rides weren’t a problem. The bed was super comfy and check in/out was a breeze.
Crow’s Nest was a wonderful place! Super clean, spacious and cute! We would definitely stay there again! Love that this place has a washer and dryer! Location is super easy to get anywhere in Charleston.
Very convenient location. The bed is so comfortable and my friend and I slept so well. Highly recommend this spot!
We loved our stay in this adorable carriage house. The size and layout is perfect for a couple. It was very clean and well equipped for a 5 day stay. It was about a 15-20 minute walk to King street and comes with an assigned parking spot in front of the house. The only small flaw were the little black flies inside the house.
Convenient location, clean and comfortable.
We loved this space. It was much bigger than expected and very cozy. I think it is a good value for Charleston as well. It was a very cheap uber ride to anything we wanted to do.
warm & welcoming space. great amenities! just what i needed
The house was well appointed, clean and comfy. Very good communication with the host. Wish we could have stayed longer.
This place is great. A fully equipped kitchen Sparkling clean. King size comfy bed & a designated parking space in front. We loved it!
Loved this darling space in a great neighborhood. The bed is without a doubt one of the most comfy I have ever slept in on vacay. Quinn was great to work with checking in and out was a breeze. We really liked Charleston. For exploring the historic district, you need to drive down or Uber. There is lots of parking so not a problem. Ate Dinner at Blossom. Recommend it highly. Also in the neighborhood there were great things in walking distance. The queso at Fuel was so good. Thanks again for helping make our trip memorable.
We absolutely loved Quinn's place! So cute and quaint and we loved that we had the entire carriage house to ourselves. Will definitely try to stay here again when we visit Charleston!
Quinn’s place was great. The house was spotless when we showed up and was extremely easy to communicate with the host who always responded quickly. Right down the street from king street makes it easy to get downtown. I would recommend Quinn’s place anytime.
165E was very clean and the pictures are extremely accurate! Communication with host was easy and check-in was a breeze. Overall would stay again!
Great cozy little place to stay in a great location in downtown Charleston.
The location was great. I enjoyed walking all around king street and down the peninsula. Not too far from the beaches too. The space itself was very comfortable and relaxing.
It was such a great space in a good location! We will be back! We had no trouble checking in and enjoyed our trip to Charleston!
Such a cute place! Highly recommend! Best bed I’ve slept in!
Quinn’s place was great! It is very stylish and clean. Perfect for my husband and I. The bed was soooo comfortable. We may could have walked to some places but we chose to drive everywhere we went and just paid for parking due to Charelston being very hot/humid this time of year. We would definitely recommend Quinn’s place.
Stayed here for the week and was a great location and place to stay!
This carriage house was so perfect! It's incredibly charming and within walking distance to.countless cafes, coffee shops, and restaurants. Also a super quick drive to Downtown. We booked this place last minute due to a last minute cancellation and could not be happier that we did!! Will definitely stay here again!
Nice amenities, terrible neighborhood. I suggest not staying here.
This house is gorgeous, well appointed, comfortable with multiple seating areas. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics. The 2nd floor balcony off the bedroom is such a nice amenity to enjoy the Charleston weather. The AC works like a champ. The only heads up I would say is that it is obviously right next to the MUSC campus and so can be a bit noisy with ambulances & helicopters coming in but this quieted down significantly overnight to the point that it did not disrupt my sleep. Quinn's group was otherwise very responsive and in ready communication with me throughout.
Reid & Julie
Clean, comfortable, stylish space in an up-and-coming area of Charleston. Walkable to shopping and great restaurants. Hosts were helpful and communicated well prior to our trip, making check-in and check-out a breeze.
Great space in an eclectic community. Local restaurants recommended by host were fantastic. The space was clean and cozy. The only negative was that there were some inconsiderate guests staying in the adjacent property who did not pay attention to the posted signs about noise after 10pm.
Great apartment. Everything well taken care of by hosts.
Quinn’s place was great! This is the second time we have visited this location & certainly won’t be our last. This place is stand alone so you don’t have to worry about noise from other guests above or below. This really is a gem place with a large main bath with laundry, extra half bath downstairs for privacy or guests, full kitchen, big walk in closet & shelves for clothes storage (I love unpacking for 4 day weekends so this was nice to really settle in). It’s lovely to enjoy coffee in the morning or wine in the afternoon on either the front porch or upstairs private deck. I can’t say enough about he space...it’s great! I won’t even get started about how great this neighborhood is & it’s proximity to some of the best restaurants in Charleston! I would go on forever!! You at still walking distance to anything in downtown Charleston but tucked away here like you really live in this great community. As for Quinn & the Duvet team, professionalism all the way! With a bag drop for convenience before or after checkin/checkout, a responsive staff & little touches like locally roasted coffee to enjoy, there’s no reason not to book The Crows nest for your next trip to Charleston!
At Quinn’s place you can expect a clean and updated space to stay with plenty of amenities such as laundry, a kitchen, and plenty of television options to relax and watch at the end of a long day of exploring. My mother and I enjoyed our stay and were happy to have a space that was both private and clean. We were able to park our car outside the Airbnb in a small lot and have access to our things as well as a safe place to leave our vehicle. The location was great in relation to the site seeing destinations downtown about 5-10 min Uber ride depending where you go. Since my mother can not walk much this was great. However, you could get to most destinations by walking from this location easily. I enjoyed that the space was functional for her to get into and was comfortable and clean. My only note would be the stairs to the bed and shower are a bit narrow so something to think about if you are someone like my mother that requires assistance. She was able to get up the stairs but was something we did notice. All and all I will say I was pleasantly surprised how clean and well maintained the bnb was and was happy with the quick check in, check out, amenenties, and facilities. I would definitely recommend.
Great little spot that was actually bigger than we expected based on the pics. (specifically the bedroom) 20 minute walk to King Street 40 Min walk to East Bay 15 minute walk to Citadel EASY Uber to all points Thank You!
My friend and I had a wonderful stay at the Crows Nest. It is the perfect size for two people who are looking for a comfortable place to come home to at the end of a long day of enjoying Charleston! The location couldn't be better - an easy walk to King Street, with plenty of food options close by. The home was beautiful and clean, with everything we needed for our stay. I would definitely come back and stay at the Crows Nest and would recommend to anyone traveling to Charleston!
Everything was great. Very nice place and very clean and up to date. Really enjoyed it.
This place was great! It was close to the downtown and had a bunch of little coffee shops and restaurants that are all walking distance. The place itself was the perfect size with a balcony in a very quiet area.
Such a sweet apartment, great for two people wanting to explore dt Charleston. The location was perfect and we walked pretty much everywhere. The space itself was a perfect little paradise and communication with The Stay Duvet team was excellent
Quinn was extremely communicative, giving a call in advance of check in to determine if a face-to-face meeting could be arranged. Though we could not meet in person, he was prompt in responding to questions and accommodating of our requests. We loved this apartment. It was cozy, well appointed, and reasonably priced. My wife and I were sad to have to leave as there were a number of neighborhood restaurants we simply did not have time to get to during our all-too-short stay (three nights, two days). A must-see.
My husband and three month daughter had a wonderful stay at the Crow's Nest. The layout was perfect for our extended visit. The small but very usable kitchen, stackable washer/dryer and walk-in shower made our stay much nicer than the typical hotel room. There are lots of great restaurants and cafes in the area that are all very walkable. One parking spot is included which is a great benefit considering how hard it is to park in Charleston! The best part of our stay was the sunny little piazza on the second floor. It's a great spot to soak up some afternoon sun or to watch the sunset. Quinn, our host was very kind and quite responsive if we ever had a question. He made sure our stay was perfect. We would recommend this little carriage house to anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while in Charleston.
Great location and the house was beautifully remodeled. I would definitely stay here during my next trip to Charleston!
This was a great rental! Quinn met me on arrival and showed me the house. Everything was as pictured and described, very clean and up to date. Very close to MUSC and great restaurants nearby. Thanks!
I love this carriage house so much. It's a gorgeous and spacious two-story apartment that has maintained its historic charm (wood floors and double porch) with modern comforts and finishes (great shower, super comfortable bed). It was more than enough space for me and would be great for a couple's getaway. Quinn contacted me leading up to the trip and stayed in touch during my stay to make sure I had everything I needed. The location is a short drive to downtown and historic areas, and there are some cool cafes in walking distance (try Wildflour for breakfast). I was here for a conference and wish that I had more time to relax on the porch -- would love to come back!
The carriage house was perfect for my husband and I travelling to Charleston with our baby daughter. The photos posted are accurate and there was plenty of space for us to relax, even on the balcony while our daughter slept. The biggest plus was the location; far enough away from the super touristy downtown market/king street area but still easily accessible, and a nice, easy walk away. Most importantly, the house is close to some really great restaurants (and some great looking bars although with a baby, those days are sadly behind us for now) some of which Quinn references in the house welcome guide. Be sure to check out Xiao Bao Biscuit, Macintosh, Fuel, Wildflour Pastry and Hominy Grill - all just around the corner from the house. Overall an excellent stay! Quinn was a great host, super responsive and available both during the booking process and while we were there. We did have issues with the internet wifi while we were there but Quinn was quick to get back to us and did his best to resolve the issue during our stay, sending a tech to check it out and offering help in tracking down cafes with wifi that we could use in the interim. Check in and out was simple, key was in a lockbox and Quinn popped in to ensure all was in order when we arrived.
Great spot in a lovely part of Charleston. Quinn was so helpful and communicative before the trip started and was on hand during the stay to help when needed. He gave a god run down of new things around Charleston when we arrived and The Crows Nest was immaculate. You could tell Quinn takes being a host seriously and it helped make the holiday a great one
I was very pleased with my stay at "the crow's nest" in Charleston. The place itself was true to the pictures and description, and it was very clean. Quinn provided a welcome note that included local recommendations (restaurants, bars, transportation, etc). The parking spot off street was perfect since we used bikes to get around most of the week. Quinn was absolutely fantastic! Unfortunately, the timing of our trip coincided with the extreme/historic flooding in South Carolina and we ended up not getting in until 2 days after we were supposed to check in. Quinn not only refunded the 2 days, but called local authorities to give us regular updates on if it was possible to get into Charleston throughout those 2 days. We thoroughly appreciated the extra effort and will be happy to return in the future.
Great host. Great property. Great location. Would recommend and would stay there again. Thanks!
We had a great stay at the Crows Nest. The place is spacious, has good AC and the dedicated parking was a nice benefit. We love to explore the local food scene and some of our best meals in Charleston were a short walk from the carriage house. Quinn was also an excellent host. Communication was easy and he was always quick to respond.
We had a great visit to Charleston and loved the carriage house. It was in a great location. Close to MUSC, the hospital, and tons of fabulous restaurants. We brought our bikes and easily rode to the French Quarter and water front. Check in was easy and we had our own parking spot in the lot which was nice. The bed was extremely soft and there were plenty of blankets to keep warm. The house was clean and welcoming. Quinn had a website for us with suggestions of things to do and places to eat. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Thank you, Quinn!
This house was a bit further off the beaten path than I had hoped (and I'm quite familiar with the Charleston area), but otherwise lovely. Cute, clean house with reserved off-street parking.
Quinn called us well ahead of our arrival to know better when we'd be arriving and then called us again on the same day of arrival to let us know how we could get into the apartment. Everything went really smoothly. The apartment itself is actually better in person then what you see from the pictures. There are TV's both in the living room and above the bed. The bedroom itself has very high ceilings which for me made it extremely comfortable to sleep in. The blankets on the bed itself are really comfortable and there isn't anything I can fault in the apartment.
The Crow's Nest is a beautiful 2 story house with a brand new/modern kitchen. Downstairs has a couch, table, tv, and bathroom. Upstairs bedroom large w/ nice balcony, TV, and full bath. Washer/dryer in upstairs bath. Beautifully decorated. Quinn was so easy to work w. There is parking outside the house, which is very nice. Not exactly walking distance to downtown Charleston (if you did, would be 20+ minutes) so if that is what you're looking for this isn't quite it. But it is beautiful place to stay and is quiet. Would definitely come back again.
This was our first visit to Charleston & The Crow's Nest was the perfect location. Close to downtown, close to the highway for getting to Folly & Magnolia Plantation. The accommodations were beyond what we anticipated & we are convinced we will never stay at a hotel again! Quinn was always available for questions and was so helpful when we arrived earlier than anticipated. Thank you, thank you! Crows Nest was a large part of why we enjoyed Charleston so much!!
This was my second time in one of Stay duvet's properties and I was even happier with this spot. A very spacious living room and kitchen, with a great bedroom on the top floor. Plenty of closet space and a nice balcony made it even better. The crow's nest is a must for staying near the action of King st, but being just far enough away to enjoy the quiet.
My wife and I stayed here during a mini vacation to Charleston and it was perfect for us.
Really nice house—seemed very recently renovated with new, high-end appliances, modern bathroom, and paint. For those unfamiliar with Charleston, the house is on the northwest side of some of the most popular areas on the peninsula. Development in the city has continued to move northward, and there are several nearby options for food and drink. Still, to get to some well-known spots, expect a 15–20 walk (or a five-minute Uber). This should be a welcome opportunity to burn off some of the calories you'll consume, but it's also best suited to the shoulder seasons—You may not want to walk a mile to dinner in nice clothes if it's still in the mid-80s outside. That said, the price for this free-standing carriage house is significantly below what you would pay to be a few minutes closer, and those resources are better spent on an extra couple of cocktails or small plates each night. Quinn was attentive throughout the stay and more than willing to do whatever was needed to ensure a pleasant trip.
We had a great stay at The Crow's nest. The space was exactly as described, very clean, and within walking distance of most of what we wanted to explore within Charleston. The neighborhood felt safe and Quinn was very helpful and detailed in the planning process. Check in was also very flexible which we appreciated. I would recommend this space to any couple or small group of travelers.
The Crows Nest was exactly as described by Quinn. Very clean, good location, a perfect place for a couple to stay. My husband and I had a great time exploring Charleston and would definitely stay here again if we returned! Thanks to Quinn for being such an accommodating host.
Quinn’s place is a beautiful space, fully equipped with a first rate kitchen and immaculate. It is very conveniently located, only a 5 minute drive from any place in Charleston a visitor would be interested in seeing. Collin, our host for the days we were visiting, was there to greet us and was only a text away if we had had any issues or question. A very fine choice!
Quinn was very accommodating and helpful! He provided us with local recommendations as well as easy instructions. The Crows Nest was very clean, nicely decorated, and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again!
Quinn was a great host providing information about the listing and neighborhood prior to my arrival. He was also very timely in responding to messages, texts, and phone calls during my stay. The pictures were very accurate and loved how this was a stand alone house with parking right outside the front door!
Quinn was very accomidating and the house was perfect for our stay in Charleston! Highly recommended! :)
Quinn was super helpful and a great host! Check-in and check-out was super easy, and the home was exactly what I was expecting. Clean, charming, and exactly what we needed for a fun weekend getaway. Highly recommend for travelers who need a place to stay at that feels like a home away from home. Had some internet issues, which was not ideal for working from home, but Quinn was helpful and attentive. Will definitely book again if we make it back to Charleston!
The listing for the Crows Nest was 100% accurate. Quinn was able to meet us at the house when we arrived in Charleston. He gave us access and a quick tour, as well as a few suggestions for coffee and food within a block or two. Super friendly and easily reachable. The house itself is a very comfortable size for two people with both the upstairs and the downstairs areas. We happened to visit during the cooldest days of winter -- but the upstairs was nice and warm. The downstairs was a bit chilly since heat naturally rises, but we didn't spend enough time at the house to be bothered by that. There was also a space heater there if we needed it. And during the warmer days we were there the temperature wasn't an issue for us. The place is located near several delicious food destinations. A few by name: Hominy Grill, the Taco Spot and Browns Court Bakery are all within a short walking distance. We also walked all the way down King Street and made it to the historic district. It was only a 1.6 mile walk to get there. If you don't mind walking, the house is actually pretty close to everything in the city. We would definitely stay here again!
Perfect spot for a couple to explore the city. Close to the action wuthout the traffic and noise. Some sirens and helicopters from the nearby hospital. Nicely renovated and updated.
Great place to stay!
The Crows Nest was a welcoming place to come back to after a long day touring Charleston. The place was very clean, very comfortable, and we slept so well on the comfy bed! Quinn was very responsive; you could tell that he and Duvet were on top of things. I would definitely recommend this place to friends! Thanks for being a great host Quinn.
The Crows Nest was exactly as described and pictured. This space is the perfect size for a couple. We were very comfortable. All the amenities were all top quality. The staff was very attentive and available if we needed anything. The location was just 5 minutes from the French Quarter. We highly recommend this location!!
Very nice updated unit. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Convenient to free downtown shuttle. Only thing missing was silverware.
Really enjoyed our long weekend stay at Quinn's place. Perfect for 2 people. Extremely clean home and easy to communicate with Quinn and the Duvet team. About a 20-minute walk to downtown, but a very quick/cheap Uber ride.
The location is decent. A bit of a walk to main things in Charleston. It was decently clean but not what I expected for having to pay a cleaning fee. Guest are expected to stop the bed and bathroom linens and start wash upon check out which is silly when you are being charged a cleaning fee and not made aware of this ahead of time. Overall it was decent for the price.
Beautiful unit, quick access to 17 and downtown, but also very close to University Helipad which created a lot of noise and light in the upstairs room. Bed was ok, but there was no extra bedding. Expect to strip the beds and do laundry on your own even though you are paying a cleaning fee. Kitchen needs some basic tools for cooking meals. Flatware was sadly lacking. We had 7 spoons and 1 fork, 1 wine glass and 1 champagne flute.
Very nice little cottage getaway, perfect space for two people. Great location with easy accessibility to downtown restaurants, shops, and bars via uber and short drive to beaches. The place was very clean and welcoming, bright and airy. Central air was a huge plus as the inside temperature was easily maintained even in the heat of August. Guest service was timely and accommodating. Off road parking was a huge plus although the parking lot was small but manageable. Overall, a great little vacation spot for a couples' getaway.
We enjoyed our stay in Charleston and the Crows Nest so much. Loved sitting on the rocking chairs on the porches while drinking coffee and plotting out our days. Location is slightly out of the mix of downtown (quiet) and we weren't ever in an Uber for more than five minutes. Highly recommend this as a nest for your next Charleston visit.
This was a very nice and comfortable place. It was very clean and simple and was perfect for my honeymoon. It was a great location very close to downtown. My wife and I agree, we would recommend for any couple and would definitely stay again.
The Crow's Nest was the perfect place for a Charleston weekend getaway. The apartment was meticulous, quiet, and secure. Quinn was the perfect host. I would stay here again next time.
10 minute walk from king street, but a clean and secluded renovated carriage house that is perfect and very comfortable for two people. The parking is on site and very convenient as well. Everything in the house was in working order and the amenities were even better than described!
Apartment was very spacious and updated and made for a very comfortable stay. Quinn was very responsive, and quickly resolved any issues that came up. Location of the apartment is a bit secluded from the main shopping/nightlife on King St, but generally makes for a comfortable longer walk over in good weather. Location is also good for someone who wants to explore more up and coming neighborhoods outside of just downtown. One drawback was the exposure of the building however, and the location of the apartment (near open roads + a hospital), which made it a bit noisy (earplugs at night did the trick).
Such a cute place!! Absolutely loved it! It was a short Uber ride from everything! Beaches weren't too far of a drive either! ❤️
Beautiful place, spotlessly clean. Location is fantastic. Parking is tight, only bring one vehicle.
Great place, Great location, Very comfortable bed. It is very bright in the room in the mornings. Bring eye covers if you like to sleep in.
The Crow's Nest was very clean, modern and comfortable. The location was very central and we walked everywhere. King Street is just 15 min away! The dedicated parking spot was very much appreaciated. Quinn was very thoughtful and communicated with us at all the right times to make sure everything was going well. Check in and Check out was extremely easy and convenient. We had a wonderful time!
This place was wonderful. We would stay again or recommend to a friend.
Was a very cozy space!
Highly recommend this place!!
We loved our stay at Quinn’s! A beautiful place to stay with everything you need. Just a short walk to everything we wanted
A perfect, quiet, cozy space for two in a great location! We walked to the historic district, and there were lots of great coffee and breakfast options within a very short walk.
Beautiful small home for two. It was the perfect size and the bed was phenomenal. Easy to find and get into, private parking was great and Quinn had thought of everything. Excellent stay for our honeymoon!
Incredibly clean space and very comfortable bed. A little out of the way from the historical district, but everything is within a 10 minute drive which is great. Would definitely recommend.
We had a lovely time in Charleston over the weekend. The Crows Nest is a great place to stay downtown, easy to walk just about everywhere in the city or a quick drive to Folly beach. Everything in the Place was clean and orderly and best of all quiet and comfortable.
Great place for a weekend in Charleston!
Great location to my conference at the Mills House Grand Hyatt. Close to historic district and restaurants. Super clean. Bed was very comfortable. Overall, it's a place that is clean with all the upgrades. Great experience and I will be back
Our stay at the Crow's Nest was awesome! It's in a cool up and coming part of town but not too far from downtown. It's a quiet little neighborhood that has a good mixture of new places like The Warehouse, and old neighborhood favorites like D'Allesandro's Pizza. Quinn and the folks at Duvet really have a nice set up that makes you comfy and at home!
Though we never met Quinn in person, he was an accommodating and helpful host. My partner and I recommend this Airbnb, especially in regards to its great location. It’s close enough to downtown to walk over to Charleston’s main attractions with ease but far away enough as to avoid the large crowds. The Airbnb is situated in a hip and growing neighborhood with some delicious coffee shops (highly recommend the Gnome Cafe latte with oat milk) just around the corner. Lovely neighborhood and lovely abode.
Very nice. REALLY clean. Nice neighborhood, close to bike share bikes for getting around traffic free. Try sunrise cafe xpress for good bagel, Gnome cafe for good vegan breakfast/lunch.
This is a great little place within easy walking distance of King street and the downtown area. About a 10-15 walk to King St. and lots of restaurants. The place was spotless when we arrived and check in/out was very easy with the keypad lock. Was the perfect size for my husband and me, though might be a little cramped with more people. Also, the king size bed was super comfortable! There is noise from the helicopters at the hospital right next door, but they didn't fly by that often.
Quinn is the best host. The place is clean and very modern chic! Amazing customer service as we left personals and Quinn was responsive and quick to mail our personals! I highly recommend this place! We will return !
Great location, price, space and location. Thanks!!
Great place!! I would recommend to anyone.
Cute and convenient carriage house in Charleston! The space was immaculately clean and perfectly sized for 2 people. A quieter area off the main drag, but can be rowdy neighbors and airplanes overhead. The place had all the essentials and Quinn was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay!
This place is perfect for two people wanting to see Charleston! The location is great and the place felt like home. I was so grateful to have a place that was sparkling clean.
Great location, easy check-in/check-out process and lovely porches!
We loved staying here! Beautiful home pretty close to King Street (about 10-15 minute walk).
Overall, the place was completely renovated inside and out and was a great apartment for a couple. The upstairs loft bedroom with balcony was excellent. Kitchen and bathrooms perfect. There is a hospital close by that has an occasional helicopter landing on the roof. A bit noisy when it happens, but only occurred a couple of times. The center of town (Market, King, French Quarter)is a bit of a long walk. We took a Lyft.
Great place, exactly as described. Extremely clean, plenty of towels and toiletries provided. The location was about a 10-15 min walk to the top of King street, fine if you don’t mind walking. The king size bed was comfortable and cable TV a plus. Kitchen had the necessary standards. We did not cook but there were some pots/knives. Coffee maker and fresh ground coffee was provided, great touch! Overall was a great stay, would highly recommend! Thanks Quinn!
We stayed here for three nights. Quinn is a great host—super responsive and very detailed in check in process, check out, etc. though we didn’t contact him for excursions and recommendations and such, he made himself readily available. The place itself is quaint. Cute size for two people. Shower is pretty spacious. The kitchen has everything you need for simple stuff if you wanted to cook. Location wise, you are not more than 5 -10 minutes away from hominy grill and xiao walking. A little further to king street, about 20 minutes or so but totally doable. It’s by a hospital so sometimes you’ll hear ambulances and helicopters. It wasn’t a big deal for us though. Overall a great place to stay, great size, great location, great host and will hope to stay here again if we were in the area !
Quinn's place is so cool, comfortable and clean that we felt at home the minute we walked in the door. Check in was a breeze and Quinn's communication was great. The place s spotless, well-decorated and has a palpable warmth to it. The high ceilings, décor, comfy bed and double porches (we loved just sitting outside on the upstairs porch, enjoying coffee from The Bearded Café, a nearby coffee shop) made this place a wonderful getaway for us. While we didn't use the kitchen much, it was really pristine. TVs were equipped with Netflix, Hulu, etc. and the living room furniture was extremely comfortable. You can tell Quinn is committed to maintaining a quality space for his guests. We were a 25-30 minute walk from downtown, which enabled us to see some neighborhoods (and walk off our dinner) and Uber is an easy and inexpensive option if needed (we used it twice). Highly recommend this place for your next trip to Charleston!
My husband and I booked this place as a late honeymoon and it was even better than I could have imagined. The carriage house was beautiful and was located close to everything yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. There were little personal touches everything that made it feel like home.
Quinn’s place was a great location in a safe part of the city. Having off street parking was a huge win for us. We were able to bike to everywhere from this location. It was cozy, clean, and plenty of space for 2 people. He left us a bag of coffee which was thoughtful as well. Quinn himself also offered suggestions of where to go and assistance of activities to do while in Charleston.
Quinn was a fantastic host. Great communication at every step. Awesome spot to stay in Charleston. Would definitely recommend!
Perfect location next to shops and restaurants + a super comfy bed! We didn’t want to leave!
This little house was absolutely perfect for our wedding planning/vacation week! It was the perfect size for just the two of us, very clean with beautiful touches! The location is about a 25 minute walk from king st. but a very quick drive or uber away! We loved sitting on the porch in the evening! Would definatly reccomend for your next stay in Charelston!
A great place, literally one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed in. Great location too. 10/10.
Highly recommend. Stayed with my wife for the weekend and it was perfect for the two of us. This specific unit was detached and we had our own private balcony, perfect for morning coffee’s. The space was great for two people, clean, and just as it appears in the pictures. Some great walkable restaurants nearby and King street is also walkable. Owner was great to work with, private parking, and simple check-in. Would stay again when back in Charleston.
Clean, cute duplex apartment. Easy to get to MUSC where I had to be.
Very nice apartment and a good location for visiting Charleston. The place is clean and perfect for two people. Will visit again
What a great space! Very clean! Would definitely recommend to others!
Tom & Eileen
Nicely accommodated apartment. You will enjoy your stay at Quinn’s place.
Very cozy setting with everything we needed - good coffee, clean sheets, and a very comfortable bed. The temperature of the place was perfect for those hot days. Highly recommend!
Was our first experience with Airbnb, it didn’t disappoint!
Great place to stay! We really enjoyed the accommodations and the location; we were able to walk a lot of places! Would definitely stay here again!
We loved everything about this space! (Feb 2019). First - the king bed is the most comfortable bed you'll ever stay in. We didn't want to get up! Overall, this is a charming, clean, stylish place that was perfect for two. The location is fantastic - walking distance to many coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Under 5 min to several spots-a cute coffee shop, 132 Spring Coffee; Xaio Bao Biscuit, a great asian restaurant; R Kitchen, 5 courses for $30 (need reservations); and Hominy Grill. We also loved The Warehouse for cocktails. Very quick uber/drive to the heart of Charleston - King street shopping is about a mile. The house was very clean, comfortable, very nice kitchen with bar seating. The couch is a small loveseat, so its small if you want relax in the living room, but we were barely there and preferred to watch TV in the comfy bed anyway when we were home! The upstairs porch is also great for enjoying coffee or wine if the weather is nice. You can park right in front of the house. We loved that Stay Duvet (the property management company) brought us local coffee and checked in a few times. Would definitely stay here again!
Our stay was great! Everything was clean and provided! We loved it.
A very nice place to stay. We liked that it was a 15-20 min walk away from King St., it gave us a chance to explore the neighborhood and visit some places that we might have overlooked otherwise. The concierge service was very responsive.
Such a great space looks exactly like the pictures. Close to lots of restaurants you can walk to or short Uber ride away. Close to bike rental you can check out for the day which was a great way to see lots of sites. Would stay here again for sure!
This place is perfect for two people! The loft space is very cozy. The location is great, we walked most everywhere we went and it was an easy 20-30min Uber ride to places a bit further like the plantations or Angel Oak. Tons of great food nearby. The place itself was clean and had everything we needed. Even though we spent most of our time out and about it was great to have the two TVs hooked up to Roku when we eventually fell into our food comas at the end of the day. Would definitely stay here again!
Very nice, clean space that is easily walkable to restaurants, bars, tourist attractions. If you’re in town to run the marathon in Jan, it’s an easy half mile walk to the start!
My boyfriend & I spent a week at Quinn's place. It was super cute, comfortable and just what we were looking for. The place was extremely clean, nicely decorated and the bed was super comfortable. Our flight got in early and Quinn was nice enough to let us check in early which I really appreciated and made a huge difference in our day. The house is in a nice, up and coming neighborhood. We liked being away from all the commotion, but enjoyed having the option to walk to King St in ~15 minutes when we felt like it. We used the kitchen frequently and loved the coffee that was left for us as well. The only downside of our stay: It was communicated to us that there would be someone coming to install a new washer/dryer the day we checked in which we were fine with since we were out exploring the city during the window that was given anyway. However, nobody ever came and we were unable to do laundry during our stay. I notified the concierge team and they said they would contact the owner, but we never heard anything back. We were definitely disappointed because the laundry was one of the reasons we booked Quinn's place. That being said, the pros definitely outweighed the cons. We still had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend staying here!
I loved my Stay at Quinn's place. Everything was clean and very nicely decorated. This was my first Airbnd experience, and I'm glad I stayed here. It was like being home away from home. You'll enjoy staying here. It's just like the pictures indicate or better.
