The Space

Our apartment has been recently renovated and has a mid-century modern style interior while maintaining the historic downtown Charleston charm. Throughout the apartment, you’ll find stylish, upscale furniture atop hardwood floors, chic light fixtures, vaulted ceilings, exposed brick & more. The property features: An outdoor patio area. Whether it’s sitting by the fireplace on a cool night or having cocktails and horderves at the outdoor dining table, guests can enjoy the privacy and comfort of our fenced-in outdoor patio area which is located in the back of the house by the entrance to the apartment. A dining area. After walking up the 6 stairs onto the porch or using wheelchair access, guests walk through the main entrance to the apartment and into the dining room area. This room features a dining table with four chairs, perfect for home-cooked meals or board/card games on a rainy day. TWO bedrooms. The first bedroom, located on the 1st floor, includes a queen-sized bed, 2 bedside tables, a flat-screen TV, a ceiling fan, and a large dresser. Walk up one flight of stairs to the second floor to find the 2nd bedroom. This bedroom includes a king-sized bed, two bedside tables, a flat-screen TV, a full-length mirror, a flat-screen TV, a ceiling fan, and a large walk-in closet. One full bathroom. Located on the first floor, the bathroom has new tile floors, marble countertops, and a full bathtub/shower. A comfortable living room with a bright, modern interior and an HD flatscreen TV mounted on the wall. Exposed brick is centerpieced on the wall behind the loveseat sofa. Stylish accent chairs frame the living room making it the ultimate space to converse and unwind. A fully-equipped kitchen. Our kitchen comes fully equipped with an oven, stovetop, standard size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and all of your other kitchen needs. You will feel right at home cooking with our vintage-style appliances and reminiscing about the good ole days. With 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a spacious living room, fully-equipped kitchen/dining area- as well as being wheelchair accessible/ADA compliant, you can check off all of the items on your ‘Explore Historic Charleston’ Bucket List, while enjoying your own private space to come home to.

Guest Access

Guests will have exclusive access to the back of the building. Easily accessible and well lit for your safety. You can pull your car to unload in the front, which makes packing and unpacking a breeze. The parking is located off-site and costs $18 dollars a day. It is located at 558 King st just a half-mile away from the rental.

Firearms are not allowed in any of our private residences. This is a licensed and legal Short Term Rental. Neighborhood quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. If violated the city will issue a $1047 fine. Guests are also responsible for following the City of Charleston's Ordinance rules under Section 54-227. Our city is growing quickly. With that growth comes construction. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about the resulting noise or the current, cosmetic state of some neighboring buildings. During your stay, this shouldn’t be too bothersome, since the city’s noise ordinance dictates quiet hours between 10pm & 8am. 10+ Day Stays are subject to an additional cleaning fee at host's discretion Please use painters tape if you plan on using tape to decorate for an event. If the wall is damaged due to tape removal or decorations, you will have to pay $500 for repainting. THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE!!!

With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston’s classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun, culinary, and cultural vacation. Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include The Tippling House Wine Bar,The Ordinary, Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Bistronomy, Barsa, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish, Pink Cactus, Chasing Sage, Elliotborough Minibar and the Warehouse for drinks. Our guests and neighbors also rave about Brown's Court Bakery and Sugar Bakery located nearby. We recommend going to Babas for a cup of locally-roasted coffee and their delicious cookies and cakes. I love traveling, my family, my dog, green tea, coffee, sushi, making music, nutrition, reading, meeting new people, and living life to the fullest. I work for Yelp and put on public events in Charleston. I've lived in Atlanta, GA; Los Angeles, CA; Jupiter, FL; Chattanooga, TN; New Haven, CT; Athens, GA; and now I live in Charleston, SC and NEVER want to leave. I live by the motto "Leave nothing behind but good will". I'm a big believer in karma and care about quality control in what I do. I hope to not only be a good host, but your friend and guide (if needed) during your stay here in the best city in America :) I want you to also see whats good in the locals eyes and not just what is marketed to the tourists.

Nice and clean. Cute, quaint little place. Close to King Street, a 10-12 minute walk. Parking garage is 12-15min walk away. Safe neighborhood according to a friend from the area.

We had a lovely stay at this home. It was a short walk from downtown, which was perfect for us to stroll back home after we finished a meal out. The apartment was clean, easy to get into, and close to a little market. No complaints at all for us.

Clean and cute unit located 1/2 mile from the outskirts of Kings Street. Parking was listed at $18 but we were charged $32 for not even a 24 hour period. If you're going in the summer, beware, the upstairs bedroom is very hot. Unit was a bit pricey for what it offers.
