Welcome to the Eastside! The house is located in the quiet neighborhood of Eastside, away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. You’re still within walking distance of Charleston’s main attractions but you’ll be able to return to a peaceful neighborhood at the end of the day. It’s an up-and-coming part of town that has new restaurants and bars popping up on every corner! Some of the local eateries will be Mercantile & Mash, Rappahannock Oyster Bar and Taco Boy! Just a 15-minute walk from the house is upper King Street where you’ll find plenty of exciting bars, gourmet restaurants, and unique shops to visit. This popular area is a great place to start your adventure.

Very cozy cottage for 2 people at the most, I would think. The bed is up a ladder, so definitely not a place for anyone with arthritis or other mobility issues. It's a little far out from the historic district, but the free shuttle is not terribly far away, and there are a few things to do and see out this way in Charleston. The host is a company, not an individual, and they have a concierge who responds promptly to any issues that arise. They were very helpful with local resources and recommendations. The neighborhood is not the best, but I felt safe walking there.

The little blue cottage was perfect for our time in Charleston.The kitchen was completely equipped with a full size fridge and everything we needed.The cottage was very clean and tidy.Off-street parking was perfect. One note, the main bed is in a loft with a slightly steep ladder. The ladder was super sturdy with nice wide steps so we were very comfortable with getting up and down.We were very happy with this property and would def recommend it.

The place is good for one maybe 2 nights. It’s perfect for a short weekend but nothing more for what the price is. There is some sort of mold/stain in the bathroom right above the shower. I let the host know but he did not acknowledge it in his response to me. To be honest, you could prob find a better deal that’s even closer to King St or downtown.
